As of January 2020, Zanesville Aviation is proud to offer a very nice 1979 Cessna 172N for rent. Our goal in making this airplane available is to offer a nicely equipped, well maintained, IFR certified airplane to area pilots for a reasonable cost. See below for details.

This 172 has the Air Plains 172XP Lycoming 180HP conversion, with the gross weight increase, giving amazing performance for a 172 and auseful load of 1,035lbs-- That's like a 182! It truely makes this a great cross country airplane that can haul 4 people at an amazing speed for a 172. We have regularly seen 120-125 KTS indicated cruise at 2400RPM and 9GPH. It loves to cruise at 6-8,000ft and get amazing true airspeed for a 172.
